Tool #1 Creating a blog and avatar
This was not as hard as I thought it would be. I found that while creating my avatar it was fun just to play around with the various clothes, facial structures, and bling provided by the site. I also found that I wish there would have been a little more there. Anyway, I had fun and learned something new.

Glad it proved to be a fun learning time. There are lots of other avatar adventures you can have creating all kinds of creatures and alter egos! Yahoo has one. Even the NY Zoos and Aquariums site has "Build Your Wild Self"
ReplyDeleteI bet your kids would have fun making an Avatar. Yours is so sophisticated-looking! Why don't you look like that at school? lol
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to see what they could come up with! Maybe we could use it as a way for book buddies to communicate as well! Using open ended questions, the older kids could model the response...hmmm!
ReplyDeleteBook Buddy communication! What a cool idea! I want to see you guys try that. I think the kids would love it!
ReplyDeleteI think the book buddy idea is great. let's try it!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Renee! You crossed the finish line! Now, for me we will see how it goes! :-) I agree it was fun to make the avatar and it would have been neat to have had more accessories & TIME for me!
